Analysis on Trade Unions and Finance Capital in the Food and HRCT Sectors
Two new papers are
available from the IUF which examine the new ways in which short-term
profit-seeking by finance capital is having profound effects on the structure
and stability of companies involved in the hotel, restaurant, catering,
tourism (HRCT) and food sectors.
The consequences for trade unions mean increased job insecurity and newly
complex relations of employment responsibility.
The papers discuss new tactics for trade unions to meet these challenges
and the political and industrial changes necessary to wind back the increasing
power of finance capital. The papers are available in PDF.
